About

Olivia Sandoval

Hello!

I’m a Mexican-American director, writer, and production designer based in Los Angeles, California.

I am a recent alum from ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA who has been working in union, independent and commercial productions for the past six years. I love to find beauty and joy in everything I do. I am obsessed with design and storytelling. Let’s work together and make it compelling!

ExpertisE

Production Design

My process can begin at the sourcing of material, which I can build into props and sets, and ultimately decorate with a degree of realism that is inseparable from what you would find in a similar location or situation.

Writing

My passion is for carefully crafted scripts that can touch the heart of the reader before any type of production has taken place. I firmly believe that if it doesn’t, there isn’t as much hope for that happening once it makes it to the screen.

Directing

From making intuitive and well-researched casting decisions, to selecting lighting and color schemes that capture the emotional tenor of the scene.
